Haltom City police are investigating the deaths of two people in a possible murder-suicide on Wednesday. About 12:30 p.m., officers and detectives responded to a house in the 5600 block of Santa Fe Trail, where a shooting was reported, police said in a news release. Officers found two adults inside the residence, both dead. Based on preliminary information, police said, they are investigating the deaths as a possible murder-suicide. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause and manner of the deaths and release the identities of the two residents once authorities have completed their investigation.
